I was just wondering what color people think dragons should be, as if you look for one in a shop you can pretty much get one in any color you like! Lol!

Good question
I would like to think that if they had existed they would have been a multitude of colors. Though i imagine in reality if they had existed they would have been a brownish green

Thats one we debate on a lot on my forum when a new dragon scupture is released... I like earthy colours but others prefer really BRIGHT colours! The arguement always seems to come down to "Well they're a mythical creature so they can be any colour you want" I don't really like that arguement though! others say to look at lizards today and they come in all colours :/ I've got to the stage now where i dont really mind but i've yet to be convinced by anyone who sells dragon figures why a real dragon would take to sticking glitter all over its body unless it was going out clubbing

I think they would be browny, green and redish, lol! Although I think pure black and pure white would look cool to I never used to like the dragons covered in glitter, but I'm getting a bit more used to them now though. I like metallic dragons

That is indeed a tough question. I guess with a lot of lizards their colour is dependent on the surroundings they live in. I doubt very much that a dragon would be the same as they can't really blend into the background and seek camoflauge from their surroundings althgouh maybe a sky blue dragon would do ok whilst flying. So I will go for Sky Blue

the dragon could be bought unpainted for £90 but to get it professionally painted to your own design it cost £165! so the cost of painting was £75! the company who made them were charging a lot for painting though! i think if i bought a white then took it to the painter myself it would have been much cheaper. because it's entirely produced in the UK as a made to order piece the cost it a lot more than one mass produced in China my first one was given to me for free because of all the advertising i did! Andy sold about two or three trial pieces in about a year, i put it on my site and took his sales beyond 30 in a couple of months ;D there are perks to running dragon sites
