What would dragons eat then? What would the majority of their diet be?
Also how fast would they have flown?

Well of course i am going to have to backup my theory in the physiology section.
To me they are obviously predatory carnivoures and thereforethey eat meat. As to whether they eat greenery or not in nigh on impossible to tell.
However i would also say they eat stone. More specifically lime stone to contribute into the flying process. (See the physiology section of my site)
That being the case hey would likely have two stomachs.

Just read it and its a very interesting read. Nice one. I guess that a dragon would eat all of its prey, bones and all as it certainly had the stomach to digest it all..

I think broccoli and garlic would be all a growing little dragon would need.

Lex, I'm inclined to agree, Peter thingyinson's theories regarding limestone comsumption were very impressive.
Also, peasants. In the myths, dragons also seem to snack on a few hundreds peasants before the knight comes along and kill them. Peasants don't wear armour, so clearly they're easier to digest than knights.

I was just scan reading that and I read the word peasants as peanuts, and then read the whole thing, miss reading the word, lol! And yeah I'd agree that they would defo be easier to digest, although if they ate peanuts that to I'm sure would be good for them

Ok - Another quick Question. Would dragons eat their prey raw or would they cook them a bit first. Perhaps thats where the cavemen got the idea for spit roasting?
