Old news but I didn't see anything about it here yet. "Spyro the Dragon" Becomes FilmBy Garth Franklin Friday October 26th 2007 7:52am The Animation Picture Co. has optioned the feature rights to Sierra Entertainment's "Spyro the Dragon" franchise with plans to produce a stereoscopic 3-D computer-animated feature reports the trades. The story follows Spyro, a rare purple dragon of prophecy, on a voyage of self-discovery as he struggles to come to terms with his potential while finding himself embroiled in an epic struggle against evil. Brothers Steve and Daniel Altiere ("Dr. Dolittle 4") will adapt the screenplay from the trilogy of games. No director has yet been hired. From: www.darkhorizons.com/news07/071026h.php~~~ I'm curious to know if Elijah Wood, David Spade and Gary Oldman will be doing the voices for the film, like they did in the game A New Beginning.
