This well known series has 7 books in total, one of which is called voyage of the dawn treader, in this book, one of the characters becomes a dragon (a boy called Eustace) and he does this by putting on a piece of the dragons gold. I really enjoyed this book, as i did all of them, and would recommend it for dragon lovers and any one who's into fantasy.

When I was a young lad I read them all, a very good read, i agree, time for a re-read, but I always thought magicians nephew and the voyage of the dawn treader were best, though silver chair was very good. (But the latest movie is such a disapointment)

yeah it was rubbish wasnt it.
And im going to have a bit of a rant here.
But as someone who is trained to use a sword i was more than a little dissapointed in the way the main characters fought.
There is not a blade art in the world where the starting stance is to hold yor sword directly infront of you and hope the enemy inpales him/herself on it. It just looks stupid!!!
Ok rant over.

It supports the film cus he hasn't been taught how to use a sword in the film, so of course he's gonna hold it funny, if he didn't every one would say it's wrong cus he hadn't been taught to hold a sword yet he did it right, hehe!

No i disagree
No one is THAT dumb. Most people have the common sense to hold the sword in some sort of offensive or defensive gesture. Its instinct.
They quite literally took the sayiong "sharpe end away from the wielder"
He just looks ridiculous. Even after he has been trained.

Voyage of the Dawntreader was my favorite as well. That was the best. I sometimes look at paintings and wish I could be pulled in, just like they were.

That would very cool, i would love to be sucked into a picture, depending on what the picture is. (There are plenty of pictures i would rather stay out of )
