You'd have to be patient if Rob SImpson was doing it though, it took him 5 years to do one for my site!!! then again he was only supposed to be designing a logo not sculpting one ;D

Marv you plug away my friend.
Im currently sving up to buy the pride model so im afraid i wont go for it.
Boz i like your idea actually. Design a logo and ...what? .... have someone sculpt it?
Anyone know the details of how i would get that done?

'Pride' is a stunning piece so i don't blame you Buying a 'Scribe' does go towards financing and keeping TSL going though because a small percentage of the sale goes to TSL (/end of guilt trip) as for a logo getting sculpted... this can be extremely expensive because it means hiring a sculptor then getting someone to mould and cast it which isn't cheap! it can go into the thousands to hire someone to sculpt a piece and get it prototyped. I've been friends with Rob Simpson (the sculptor of Scribe) for years and he promised me he'd design a logo for the site, 5 years later, he finally went a step further instead by sculpting me one but he has access to all the casting and moulding process and did it as a favour for all the promotional work i've done to promote his sculpting and he covered the cost himself.

Hmmm i may have to see if i can offer something else to pay for a DT sculpt if thats what i choose to do. I certainly dont have thousands to dedicate to the site at the moment, especially as it has no facility to pay for it self right now. (Of course that will change but more on that another time)
As for the TSL one. You have convinced me, but my PC has to come first. How long do i have before i can order?
I will just have to buy pride a little bit later.
I also really like the enchantica Earth Elemental, what do you think of that piece?

you have until the 31st of March next year so there is no rush, plus i was only kidding on the guilt trip front you don't have to get one Earth Elemental from Enchantica is a great piece by Rob SImpson, I really like the set of elements, I have 2 versions of earth too, i have the production piece and the prototype colour scheme. it's a piece well worth having

I wasnt too keen on the water Elemental to be honest but the earth is the other one i had my heart set on.
The other one, which i forget the name of, is way out of my price range.
I just cant justify spending that much money on dragons when i have a mortgage, holidays and a girlfriend all of which do a good job of draining my money.
I realise i dont have to, but its a nice enough dragon and if it helps you im sure before March, i will be able to get one.

Hi Lex.
Great site!
Marv's elemental water dragon is far better then the production piece.
Dont worry, we will have you hooked on Dragonsite and Enchantica dragons.

Hi Ivo Thanks Marv's water elemental is better? as in better painted? Hooked? no, but i expect i will buy some. I have a lot of dragon models alreadty but most of them are a lot cheaper than the enchantica ones.
