Hi diamondtear Thats a good question. I think my favorate legend is the one regarding Y Ddraig goch. I like the idea of a dragon fighting ot protect its home. Another favorate of mine is the dragon Gawbash from the film flight of dragons.

Your Welsh? I assume then that Y Ddraig Goch bears some meaning to you. The story is fascinating despite the many many different variations.
Another favorite dragon of mine is Tiamat. So many stories and so unclear and yet so prominent in babylonian mythology.

My favorite would have to be the Mercian dragon, I'm not sure of its actual name or if any of its legends survive but its banner led its people to an empire ruling most of england and virtually controlling the rest of Britain.

Ah come on man, Smurgle is cooler than Gorbash! Does anyone else have the irresistable urge to sing "pluckapluckaplucka" at the end of 'Oh Susannah' from watching flight of dragons as a kid? Ok maybe I'm a geek too. The Darkest Shadow - being Welsh, do you have any idea how to pronounce Y Ddraig Goch then?

No way!
Gorbash is young, impetuous and admittedly has an irritating voice. But he is much much cooler than smurgle. Well a little but cooler.

Well I can't comment on that I'm afraid, although, Shenlong and this really cool Zanpaku-to from the Bleach books was an awesome dragon attack/sword thingy (you'd have to read the books to get me

Have you not seen flight of dragons? Lex is obviously neglecting his duty!
You'll have to join me in a nostalgic film session. Although its kind of focused on dragons, loads of other magical creatures and people make appearances.

A focus on dragons is never a bad thing
